GROUNDWERK X: 10 years of Groundwerk

Come celebrate a decade of creativity and community at The Anza Club! Groundwerk is a meetup for creatives and fans of DJ-focused underground electronic music. A wonderful place to connect and learn no matter what stage you're at in your musical journey. We even have a special welcome for introverts! All genres of underground dance music welcome. We're open to ambient and spacy synth-noodles recordings too.

Learn about the industry through our keynote-in-convo with Joel West (guest TBA) to begin the night, then hear 15-20 brand new songs made by producers who are in attendance. You can also submit one of your own new songs for consideration as well, follow our IG fo submission details. Many creative projects and partnerhships have formed in this room over the years, meeting even one new person could be a new start for you.

Since our inception in 2015, we have hosted dozens of monthly meetups, premiered 1500+ new songs in the room, thrown many events including local showcases and international artist shows, hosted panel talks at Bass Coast, organized stages for Monstercat, and collaborated with many of Vancouver's nightlife promoters and venues. We are also a Beatport-charting label specializing in underground techno.
