Everyone is aware of the bushfires in Australia at the moment with an estimated 480 million animals and 29 people killed. 10 million hectares of land has been affected and reports say it is only getting worse. So how can we help?

On Thursday Feb 6th blues musicians from Vancouver are banding together at The Anza Club for 'Blues For The Bushfires'. What better way to raise some much needed funds than a good ol' blues night?

The night features Australian musician Rowen Porter, Sandy Bone, Bradley Barkman, Joni Miller & The Usual Suspects, Lisa Rae Simons and many more.

Entry to 'Blues For The Bushfires' is by donation, with all proceeds going to WIRES and The Australian Red Cross.
