It is also a distillation of what it means to live as a millenial in urban Vancouver. One of the often-overlooked positive outcomes of the economic instability that plagues so many urban millenials is the return to a community-based living model--in order to survive, so many of them (us) have eschewed the single-family home life in favour of a constantly-shifting communal model in which a community of people (including partners and children) work together to create a full, meaningful, cooperative life. La vita è bella!
