The ANZA club has a concert hall that can be rented out for any type of event. The hall has it's own bar, a capacity of approximately 130 people, P.A., dance floor, a great atmosphere, exceptional acoustics as well as unobstructed sightlines. Simply put, the hall is a great room for concerts, film screenings, script readings, birthdays, receptions, etc..

All renters must be ANZA members. Membership details available here. You must also purchase a special occasion liquor license if you're doing your own bar. The license may be purchased at any BC Liquor Store, and you must have a Serving It Right number. The rental fee includes 2 security staff. The renter is to supply another security person and any extra bar staff they may think is necessary.

As of January 1, 2010 renters are responsible for liability insurance.

Room Rental Rates - Renter Hosts Bar

Damage Deposit $200.00 due when the contract is signed, and refundable by cheque.

Rental Fee Fri/Sat/Sun: $650.00 + GST
Rental Fee Mon – Thu: $450.00 + GST

If you host your own bar, you are required to obtain liability insurance. You can choose to be insured under our insurance at a cost of $150.00, or you may find your own.

PA/Sound System Rental Rates

Live Music: $200 + GST

The rental of the PA is completely optional. If the PA is rented the features included are as follows: One 16 channel Mackie sound board with a mic snake to the stage * Ample amplification for two high/mid cabinets hung from the ceiling, two double 18” base bins built into the stage and 3 monitors on the stage * We carry seven mics with cables and stands * One 5 disc CD player.

The ANZA club does not have any vocal effects or DI boxes. A sound technician is included in the cost of the PA rental, if the renter is using live sound.

The ANZA collects this fee on your behalf and submits it to the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada
